Peter Y.L. Pong was born and raised in Hawaii. He attended St. Louis High School in Honolulu, Hawaii. He graduated from the University of Southern California with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1984. Mr. Pong continued his education at the William S. Richardson Law School and graduated in 1987. After graduating from law school, he worked at Wong & Oshima specializing in worker's compensation insurance defense. Mr. Pong's previous professional experience includes litigation attorney at Wong & Oshima and litigation attorney at Chee & Markham, both firms specializing in insurance defense. Since 1997, Mr. Pong has operated his own general practice law office with an emphasis on personal injury and worker's compensation law.
Mr. Pong has served as a Court Annexed Arbitration Program (CAAP) arbitrator for over twenty years. He is fluent in Cantonese.
